Our Mission

To combat veteran isolation and suicide by creating a robust community of US military veterans. We empower veterans to support each other, fostering camaraderie and resilience. Guided by our values of courage, empowerment, respect, integrity, and excellence, we aim to build a strong network where veterans find connection, understanding, and renewed purpose. We achieve this by hosting engaging events that bring veterans together, providing opportunities for meaningful interactions and shared experiences. When needed, we help those who’ve served find the right resources to heal their mental scars.

Our Why

To give yourself to a cause that is greater than oneself is to make a noble sacrifice.
From the time we sign our name on the dotted line, to the time we leave the military.. We are surrounded by our brothers and sisters. People who understand what it means to sacrifice. To leave home, build unbreakable relationships, and lose friends. These are the hallmarks of military service.
The relationships that are made when you serve together far exceed what can normally be made in life. These relationships are forged in the fires of hell on earth. This is the closest to anyone that you will ever be.. Yet, you choose to leave military service and go back to a life of peace. Although, most don’t ever find that peace. Instead, we find that the people whom we go back to, aren’t warm. They don’t recognize us anymore. Some are scared of you and some are disgusted with you. No one understands and this pushes you into isolation.

No one should experience isolation. It perpetuates a change in personality and leads to mental health issues. In some cases, it leads to the end.

Too many times, I’ve seen another message go out about a brother that I served with who lost his battle. Too many times, have their children come home to an empty, fatherless home. Too many times, these veterans have been isolated from the people who understand the struggles they’ve gone through and the pain they’ve experienced.

Honor Bound Veterans has been created to combat that isolation that leads to veteran suicide through out reach events geared to bring veterans out of isolation and back into a community of brothers and sisters who can help.
